Make sure that this is the right size for your sill: STEP 1 – LENGTH This is the left-to-right area (the long side) of your sill. TIP: Measure only the area of the window sill that is located in front of the actual glass window, or otherwise only the area that is in between any dry wall cutouts or decorative trim work. Your entire wooden sill may be wider than your window, but many sills have areas near the outer corners that would interfere with the protector’s ability to run along the entire length. **The length in front of your window (or in between any trim work) should be 23.5 inches or less.** STEP 2 – DEPTH This is the part of your sill from your window out toward you standing in the room, and is a shorter measurement. **The depth of your window sill should be at least 3.25 inches for this depth to work.** NOTE: if your depth is 4.25 inches or more, please see our other items for larger depths.
