Measure snugly, and then add an extra 5-percent to find the actual adjusted size of the harness girth. Or, measure the length of the girth strap from the current harness. 1/2-inch-wide harnesses are suitable for pets under 20 lbs.To use, clip the smaller collar portion around the neck, then clip the harness girth around the body just behind the front legs. The connecting strap will be on the back of your pet and the D-ring for attaching a leash will be towards the tail. Matching 1/2″ wide padded handle leashes are also available.Machine or hand-wash, warm water and mild soap (no bleach or bleach alternative).
